You are probably aware of the fact that education is the manifest function of a person. That is, taking education to the level of manifest purpose has to do with the person’s ability to learn, their knowledge, and their ability to utilize that knowledge. Education then becomes a process that has to do with learning. And learning is a process that is always a reciprocal process – the more you learn, the more you grow as an individual. However, what if education were just a “thing” and we didn’t have to deal with the actual process of learning?
What if education were merely a “passive” process: that didn’t require any knowledge at all to be successful? In other words, what if you don’t need knowledge for any given situation? The end result would then be a situation where some people are highly educated, and others are not? Are you beginning to see the flaws in this kind of thinking?
Now, just because I’ve given you the wrong perspective: on the process of education doesn’t mean that you should go out and be a lock-in thinking that you already know everything there is to know. On the contrary, it’s important that you use your knowledge to constantly grow and to improve upon yourself and the knowledge you have. This is what’s been called the manifesting function of education – to manifest your knowledge and use it to further yourself in life.
Now, the problem comes when people: who are highly educated tend to become lazy, self-centered, and basically irresponsible with their knowledge. This is because their “knowledge” has grown to be too vast and far-reaching for them to truly comprehend all that it entails. They also fall into the trap of believing that they don’t need to do anything to further themselves, simply because they “know” so much. This type of behavior not only robs education but also of its very purpose – to help you grow personally, professionally, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially.
Now, one of the most powerful ways: in which to manifest your knowledge is by making sure that you keep your mind, body, and heart open to learning new things on a daily basis. This will ensure that you are always growing and evolving. It is through this process that you will begin to understand that the process of education is not complete without the individual taking responsibility for his or her life through personal effort. And the most powerful way in which to manifest your Personal Growth Function is by making sure that you are always exercising the ability to control your mind, body, and heart on a daily basis.
Here’s another tip for you: when it comes to manifest function of education, being busy is always a better alternative to being lazy. In other words, it’s never too early to start applying yourself towards personal growth.
